LoreKeep Terms of Use

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of LoreKeep. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using LoreKeep, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

If you obtained LoreKeep through Apple’s App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms conflict with mandatory marketplace terms, the mandatory marketplace terms control.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these terms. If you use LoreKeep on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for safeguarding any account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

License and Permitted Use

Subject to these terms, Astrynn grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LoreKeep on devices you own or control as permitted by the applicable marketplace rules.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, use the app unlawfully, or use automated means to extract or overload the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the stories, characters, settings, notes, and other content you create or submit. You grant Astrynn and its service providers a limited license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve LoreKeep and to fulfill your requests.

You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that you have the rights needed to use and submit it. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, contains malicious code, or violates these terms.

AI-Generated Analysis

AI-assisted results may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or inappropriate. They are tools for creative review, not guarantees of factual, legal, professional, or editorial accuracy.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether to use them. Astrynn does not claim ownership of your creative work or guarantee that AI-generated results will be unique.

Subscriptions and Billing

LoreKeep may offer auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included features are displayed before purchase.

Payment is charged through the marketplace account used to purchase the subscription. Unless canceled, a subscription renews automatically according to the marketplace terms. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting LoreKeep does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the policies of the marketplace through which the purchase was made, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain, improve, or secure LoreKeep. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or compatible with every device.

We may issue updates. Some updates may be required for continued use.

Third-Party Services

LoreKeep may rely on third-party services for app distribution, subscriptions, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, or AI processing. Those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Termination

You may stop using LoreKeep at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent harm, or address a material violation of these terms.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions—will survive.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoreKeep is provided “as is” and “as available.” Astrynn disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astrynn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from LoreKeep.

Astrynn’s total liability arising from LoreKeep will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for LoreKeep during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $50, unless applicable law requires a different result.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
